Church Hall

Introduction

St Edward’s Church hall is a great community space and is available for use for a variety of family or community events

The hall was built in the 1970’s as the village expanded dramatically to be a place of community and help build community in this area. It is managed, owned and run by St Edward’s Church PCC and we are still passionate about connecting with and supporting the Eggbuckland community.

It is a 2 storey church hall complex with a large upper hall (main hall) with dividing partitions, kitchen with hatch into the main hall, large foyer with toilets and a separate-and-internal-access Lower Hall with its own toilets.

There are a number of regular activities that including Rainbows, Brownies and Guides, Dog Training, Slimming world, Eddybears (parent and Toddler group) and, as a church hall, it hosts an increasing number of church events. The Lower hall is used during the week-days by Honeyshute Preschool.

When the hall is not in use, we like to make it available for parties and other community or family events. We currently permit hire of the hall and the kitchen (independently or together).  The toilets in the foyer are available for you to use for your event but the foyer and toilets must remain fully accessible for events in the church (across the road), church grounds or in the lower hall.

Current Charges

Main hall: £9.50 per hour

Kitchen: £5.50 per hour (including use of all crockery and utensils)

All day for both Kitchen and hall: £85
