It is 2.30pm on Christmas Eve, so it must be time for the annual crib service. Actually, as the church only holds 250, we have to have two Crib Services with the whole thing being repeated at 3.30pm. If you want a seat, you really do need to get there early for your preferred time, otherwise you will find yourself standing at the back of church
This year we, in addition to the obvious nativity scene with all the children dressed up in character, we also had puppets and Rev Chris’ telescope. Of course, we were once again visited by Boomer from the Ivybridge Donkey Sanctuary – and this year he was on his best behaviour!
Alongside the crib service we also had crafts in the church hall, with the children making Christmas decorations and gifts.
