A huge thank you to so many who came out to support and be part of this community event – even in the rain! A very special thank you to our local businesses and stall holders who went out their way to ensure those who came along had some delicious refreshments and wonderful and inspiring things to buy and look at as well the special lights that residents and neighbours ‘switch-on‘ with. It was a truly community event – everyone working together. A very special thank you too to Eggbuckland Community College for their creative, inspiring and beautiful contemporary interpretation of ‘Nativity’ which will be on display in our churchyard throughout December. I would like to say a very special thank you though to our team at St Edwards who have put in a huge amount of resource, time and energy into making this event happen from adapting the electrics, setting up, packing away, climbing trees, making endless lists, phone calls and emails as well as manning stalls, preparing craft, decorating grottos, providing refreshments, rehearsing carols and so many other behind the scenes activities.
