Harvest at St Edwards

We had a visit from Olly the Orangutan, with yet more bananas, and Chris again ‘tries’ to tell a joke: Chris spoke to us on the theme of Harvest based on Matthew 6: v25-33 – “Don’t Worry” Our harvest offering is going to North Plymouth Food Bank where it will be distributed as required.

So, a few days after the official ‘opening’ of the living church yard project…..the long-promised notice board arrived.

Living Churchyard Launch

Saturday 26th September saw the offical launch of our Living Churchyard in which we formally declared our intentions to protect and encourage the wildlife, flora and fauna. New ministry team members

It is hard to believe it has been over two weeks since out new team members joined us.  Rev Carl Budden is our new curate, and Libby Marsh is the new Children and Families worker.  They have already been kept very busy, and have had no time to let the grass grow under them!
