As well as having our Sunday Services available on YouTube, we are also discovering new ways to ‘meet’ in a ‘socially distant’ way so that we can continue to ‘be church’ whilst staying home to support the NHS and save lives.

Though public Sunday worship is temporarily suspended, we hope to reopen soon. Until then, prayer and worship continue in homes across the parish and you can join in with us through our online platforms.

Welcome
Welcome to St Edward’s Church, Eggbuckland – a family-loving parish church serving the communities of Eggbuckland, Estover, Leigham, Derriford and everywhere between! If you live in the area or are just passing through we’d love to meet you. Our main service on Sunday is at 9.30 am at St Edward’s or check out our monthly service for all ages at 11.15 am.

Whilst in the third national lockdown public worship is suspended but online worship on a variety of platforms will continue – We hope to have details of reopening very soon
The church remains open on Sundays 9-11am for:
>private prayer,
>to watch the online service in the quiet of the church
>donate to the food bank
Children, Youth, Families and Baptisms/Christenings
Activities for young people and families are limited.
As we move through the Governments Roadmap out of Lockdown we hope to open up our groups and activities for children and families again.
We anticipate reopening our Parent and toddler group, Eddybears, after the Easter Holidays – still awaiting date confirmation.
We are now able to take bookings for Baptisms to take place after June 21st. If you are considering Baptism, please contact Julian Payne on 01752 344 632 for further information and to keep you updated

Responding to COVID-19 Concerns
Though Public Worship is suspended – the church is still active, looking for new ways to worship God and serve our community
Venue Hire
During this national lockdown and before June 21st there are only limited activities that are permissible within the halls – PLEASE CONTACT JULIAN PAYNE 344 632 FOR MORE DETAILS
We are now able to take provisional bookings for after June 21st 2021
We manage two church halls to provide community spaces across the parish. If you would like to use these spaces for your event, family gathering or community group we would be really pleased to hear from you.
